cooking and writing

writing is without any doubt my calling.

i know that on some level i should have tried more to pursue a writing career by either becoming a journalist or submitting to magazines. but i don't know. neither felt right. i feel that only recently, having found the medium of novel writing, have i found the right path for myself.

so it is with great pride that i find myself inspired to write whenever i cook. but its quite distracting because i will be listening to music and images will fill my mind. then i start cooking and i'm thinking about what i'll be doing when i'm eating that food and then my mind just wanders. aliens, bad guys, love and distraught will all dance thru my mind and tickle my senses.

its a great thing my imagination. i wish there was a way to tap my thoughts and put them directly onto a big screen for everyone to see. then you would hopefully, run away in fear.
